Sergeant Lewis Malisa works at Kentucky Elementary School. And one morning he accidentally went to work on an alternative route.
He did not know that travel would change his life forever.
One morning Malissa decided to go to work when she noticed the unthinkable.
He was shocked to see a garbage bag walking down the road. He took out his cell phone to record and decided to help, no matter what was inside.
The bag started walking towards Malissa when the mysterious animal sensed someone nearby. Knowing that this could be a very dangerous animal, he carefully opened the bag to look inside.
His heart sank when he saw the adorable puppy.
He immediately started wagging his tail, as if he knew he was going to be saved. He turned to Facebook, saying: «If this is your puppy, let me know.
«If you are the scoundrel who threw it in the trash and threw it on the side of the road, you are sick.»
The puppy had a collar but no ID, so he took her to work. When he got home that night, he took the puppy to a veterinarian for an examination.
The veterinarian said that he was not more than eight weeks old, but he was completely healthy.
Malisa decided to keep the puppy and named him Hefti. Needless to say, his sons were quite excited about their new dog.
At the same time, the sheriff’s office animal control will be in touch will conduct a thorough investigation to find out who committed this horrific act. Who could do such a thing?
But the playful and loving puppy is safe, healthy, in his eternal home. What a happy ending!
