The United States Humanitarian Society has assisted the Kingman County Sheriff’s Office in searching for a Kansas village home after receiving a search, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
The officers found out that they are still in shock after discovering the most horrible case of animal abuse and neglect in the dirty treasury.
The law enforcement officers took 30 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses out of the insulting situation. The animals were sick, infected, and living in piles of faeces.
Their diseased skin was rotting due to louse infection, and many of them had lost their fur. Some of the dogs were trapped in temporary pens, while others were chained outside in the heat without rescue.
The Humane Society is now working to improve the health of these animals overall health. The mental state of the animals is very delicate at the moment.
They spent years in a house with a rotten smell, completely without care. It will take several months to restore their shattered spirits and broken health.
