Every day, street creatures fight for their lives. Finding enough snacks for herself and her pooch proved fatal for one mother dog.
She attempted to cross a busy road but was fatally struck by a car.
She died immediately, so she didn’t have to suffer, but her baby was completely unaware of what was going on. He was terrified and all alone.
He held tight to his mother, wishing she would wake up. In tears, a bystander paused her vehicle and called a municipal shelter.
She begged them to come right away. When they showed up, they saw that the baby was deeply saddened.
His mother was his entire planet, and now that she was disappeared, he didn’t know what to do with himself.
He didn’t want to abandon her, but the rescue workers had to step in.
The rescue workers loaded both pups into their car. They attempted to feed the doggie formula initially, but he refused.
He kept crying and huddled in the edge of the chamber. Despite their warmhearted sayings and all the coziness the rescue workers could provide, the pooch only wanted his mother to return.
The rescue workers decided to properly bury the mama doggie and say some nice words to her.
They promised to look after her baby in her homage. The baby was taken to the veterinarian’s office.
He was dehydrated and undernourished, so he was weak. He did not eat despite the efforts of the veterinarian and his employees.
This was nothing new to the doc and his staff. When a pooch is this close down, they have no option but to provide him with the nourishment and liquids he requires.
He won’t necessarily make it if they wait. They inserted an IV and allowed the pooch to rest as safely as possible.
The rescue organization and medical personnel are caring for the pooch around the clock, and he is making solid but slow progress.
He’s still terrified and misses his mother. It will take some time for him to regain his sense of safety, but no one is giving up on his recovering.
