A dog that has been blinded as a result of probable dogfighting longs for a snuggle buddy and a happy home

Last November, 108 kids were rescued from Michigan’s largest alleged dogfighting enterprise, including one eyeless canine tied outside with only a broken-down doghouse for protection.

Dinghy Nation, a Detroit-based animal welfare organization with a mission to eliminate violence and preserve lives, saved all of the pups with the assistance of local and national police departments.

A vet checked the kids and concluded that the adorable boy, who was completely blind, had most likely lost his sight due to combat stress.

«We can’t imagine how painful it must have been for him, to live outside, not guarded by the tenets, and be utterly blind,» Jessica Brown, informed us.

He was given the nickname «Turkey Jerky Snack» (also known as the KING) and quickly captured the hearts of the employees and soldiers.

Turkey is adapting to shelter life but longs for a forever home. He’s moved on from his horrific past and is ready to love someone wholeheartedly.

Getting around a new environment is difficult and upsetting when you can’t see, so Turkey has his own customized vehicle that he rides in every day to go outside.
